TEHRAN -- A collection of photos displaying different beautiful historical parts of Iran as well as several precious handicrafts will go on display today in Parma, Italy.

The exhibition entitled "Persia 1862" is to exhibit photos taken 141 years ago by an Italian group in their 1862 journey to different historical sites in Iran. Totally 74 photos as well as several precious handicrafts will be on display for two weeks.

The exhibition is sponsored by Italian Foreign Ministry, embassies of Georgia and Armenia in Rome, Iranian Cultural Heritage Organization and National Museum.
